this is just a prototype, NEC say they maybe selling in 2005 (but not 100% certain).
Toshiba are also developing these, but didn't have one at WPC2004

Panasonic has a 790g R3 model in testing; it uses the lighter 1.8" 40GB HDD and has a lighter batery than the 990g model
(the battery has 4 cells v's regular 6 cells on the regular R3, so battery time is down)
