LCD Display points to note:
LCD monitors and notebook displays sometimes develop a defect known as "dead pixels". A dead pixel occurs when the smallest block that makes up an image on the screen (also called a "pixel") becomes locked in a certain state. For example, a pixel could lock on to a red colour at all times. Manufacturers of LCD monitors and notebook displays expect this defect to occur to a limited extent. Therefore, there is no warranty for any dead pixels unless and until your display has a group of 8 or more such dead pixels. Defect Free LCD Guarantee: +$300 USD provides the buyer with a defect free screen (if Your screen develops any defect pixels within the first 3 months the machine will be replaced at Conics expense). NOTE: 99% of the LCDs are defect free from the factory, so please consider this carefully. |
